School Yoga Project Teacher
Kristy Cohen, M.Ed, CYT 200, CKYT, M.Ed K-6— Hi, I’m Kristy, I love teaching and sharing yoga with kids of all ages. I’ve taught kid’s yoga and mindfulness practices for over a decade in community spaces, studios, schools and my home. Before I taught yoga to adults and children full-time, I was a first grade teacher. After years of exploring various yoga styles, I now gravitate towards gentle flows, yin yoga and have integrating the TM meditation technique into my practice. Mindfulness and meditative skills are a saving grace in my life. I love sharing techniques that nurture health, and a sense of peace and balance. I also enjoy facilitating family yoga classes that encourage all members to practice together as a way to bond, get creative and have fun.
