LFY Training: Helping Children + Teens Thrive (Level 1-3)

This is a hybrid training, consisting of online content + a five day in-person immersion. It combines Level 1-Level 3 of the Little Flower Yoga certification program for a deeply empowering experience, rich with opportunities for your own personal practice.
Little Flower Yoga Training is a comprehensive, trauma informed program in yoga and mindfulness practices for children and youth ages 3 to 18. Registered by Yoga Alliance, and offering up to 6 optional graduate level credits*, training focuses on the complete physical, mental, emotional and social well-being of students.
Since 2006 LFY has been serving NYC schools, and training educators and mental health care providers around the world to bring embodiment practices to the children and adolescents they work with. The lessons learned through our work with over 300 schools and districts, and tens of thousands of educators, has been integrated into this program.
The foundation of this training is rooted in building your own self-awareness and deepening personal practice. From there, we equip you with a wide range of activities that you can immediately implement with the kids you work with.
You’ll learn a clear, structured framework, based on our five element methodology, that will allow you to teach an integrated experience of yoga and mindfulness in any setting, from the classroom to the studio.
You will return home with a deeper understanding of child development, the capacity and confidence to create programming that meets children’s needs, and the knowledge to teach in a safe, engaging, and compassionate way, even when things get tough.
Registration includes:
- Livestream orientation June 28th
- Online content to be completed prior to the in-person workshop (approximately 8 hours)
- Five day immersion at Omega
- Online content to be completed after in-person workshop (approximately 6 hours)
- 3 Livestream Q&A sessions with faculty
- 1 Year of access to all online course content and videos of practices
Participants will gain access to the LFY Online Learning Community, which offers a rich learning experience with ongoing connection to other participants and faculty members, the capacity to ask questions and join discussions, and bonus content to support personal practice.
*This program offers 3 graduate level credits for participation, and 6 credits for full certification (which includes additional online courses + mentorship program). The credits offered are post-baccalaureate, graded, graduate-level semester credits, provided directly through the University of the Pacific. They are specifically designed to meet the needs of Educators for Salary Advancement and Recertification. For more information visit littlefloweryoga.com/training.
