Gratitude and Self Compassion Practices for Children: By Donation for Sanctuary for Families
All proceeds from this by donation webinar will directly benefit Sanctuary for Families, New York’s leading service provider and advocate for survivors of domestic violence, sex trafficking, and related forms of gender violence.
Join LFY founder and Thank You Body, Thank You Heart author Jennifer Cohen Harper in exploring simple ways to bring gratitude and self-compassion into day-to-day life with children in your home, classroom or clinical practice.
When we cultivate gratitude and self-compassion, we build greater resilience, are kinder to others, and life gets more enjoyable. Daily practices of gratitude can “hardwire happiness” as Rick Hanson says, and help our brains get better and better at seeing the good that is all around us, even when some things are very hard. Making a regular practice of gratitude part of your life with children will benefit them, but it will benefit you as well.
