Teaching Adolescents and Advancing our Practice (Level 3 Online Training)
This course (Level 3) is part of our certification program. This final level of the LFY certification training offers you the tools you need to effectively create curricula and teach from your own authentic presence.
With lots of time for practice teaching, feedback, and questions and answers, we look at how to develop lessons and different ways of teaching based on your personal practice.
We also address the specific challenges of working with teens and students with special needs.
You will learn:
- Stages of youth development through the teen years
- Restorative yoga practices for children and teens
- Advanced curriculum development
- How to teach from your personal practice
- Introduction to yoga for children with special needs
- How to working with parents and caregivers

Meet Your Trainers:
Mayuri Gonzalez
Mayuri Gonzalez, LFY’s School Yoga Project Director, is a nationally recognized presenter, trainer and instructor in mindfulness and children’s yoga with over 25 years of practice. In her role with LFY, Mayuri trains and mentors teachers, counselors and school support staff. She is a contributing author to Best Practices for Yoga in Schools, and a presenter for PESI, offering continuing education to educators and health care providers.

Argos is a trusted expert with a foot in both the yoga + mindfulness and education worlds.
